gluten-free
So, David decided to go gluten-free a few weeks ago. He and Ellie both have really bad eczema, and I read that sometimes that can be caused by gluten-intolerance. David has gone totally gluten-free and a lot of gluten has been cut from Ellie’s diet. We haven’t been hardcore with her, but since we’ve been buying/making gluten-free cereal and having gluten-free family dinners every night she’s getting a lot less than she was. And, as of today, her eczema seems to be GONE. Not reduced, but gone. It had been getting better, but after her bath today when I was ready to apply Eucerin to it, I realized that it was all healed. Wow! David’s eczema has improved somewhat – I’m hoping that soon his will be gone, too. This lifestyle change will be totally worth it if so!
PS – Halloween pictures will be up soon! We had a wonderful night trick-or-treating with friends in lovely downtown Floyd and then sharing a potluck, but we left our camera at our friends’ house! So, after I retrieve it tomorrow I’ll put up some pictures.
