That’s what the kids have been calling the Fourth of July, anyway.  We had a lovely day!  David and I and my parents and Erin went to a wine festival and had a lovely afternoon while Grandmommy watched the kids, then we came home and all had a picnic, then went to see fireworks at the local high school.  It was a very fun day!

Today we had a very laid-back day, recovering from all the excitment of yesterday.  Church, hanging out at my parents’ house, coming home and playing Super Mario 3 on my old NES.  Killy found an old NES at a yardsale, and so I got mine out of storage at my parents house hoping that between the two sets we could get one working – but they both seem to work!  Killy and I beat the game this afternoon, which was fun.
