On Tuesday we had a little Mardi Gras party – I fixed beans and rice and my parents brought some shrimp and joined us for dinner.  Afterward we had a King Cake that the kids and I made.  It was SO good!  It turned out way better than the one I made last year.  I didn’t have a little baby toy to stick in the cake, so I put a coin in each of the kids’ slices and they got to be the King and Queen of Mardi Gras:

On Wednesday, David and Killy and Uncle Trav and Pop-Pop went to Columbia, SC to see a basketball game.  They arrived in town early and visited the Capitol.  These are some AWESOME pictures David took of Killian:
