Ellie was particularly challenging today – not a good day for anyone around her.  But, she ate a great dinner tonight and got to bed earlier than the night before, so hopefully tomorrow will be better!  For now, I’ll look at this picture and think about how sweet she USUALLY is:

So far I’ve made: one gallon plum wine, one gallon ginger-plum wine, 1/2 gallon spiced grape wine, 1/2 gallon ginger-grape wine, and 3 gallons of plain wine.  I sure hope these turn out to be drinkable!  Its a very basic/rustic recipe, just mashed fruit, sugar, yeast, and water and you let it ferment for at [...]

Bake a chocolate birthday cake from scratch
Make banana peanut butter muffins from scratch
Make peanut butter icing from scratch
Frost and decorate cake and muffins
Clean house before hosting a dual-purpose party: its Uncle Bob’s birthday and its the first presidential debate tonight!  I’m very excited!!!
