Ellie was particularly challenging today – not a good day for anyone around her.  But, she ate a great dinner tonight and got to bed earlier than the night before, so hopefully tomorrow will be better!  For now, I’ll look at this picture and think about how sweet she USUALLY is:

Today David took Killy to a birthday party in C-burg, while Ellie and I went with the rest of my family to a reunion in Fries.  There’s something kind of nostalgic about family reunions, so you’ll have to bear with the vintage-y style I used to edit these pictures…

We had a lovely little birthday party for Uncle Bob last night!  The cake (and muffins) were delicious, we sang, the kids helped him open presents…

So far I’ve made: one gallon plum wine, one gallon ginger-plum wine, 1/2 gallon spiced grape wine, 1/2 gallon ginger-grape wine, and 3 gallons of plain wine.  I sure hope these turn out to be drinkable!  Its a very basic/rustic recipe, just mashed fruit, sugar, yeast, and water and you let it ferment for at [...]

Clean house before hosting a dual-purpose party: its Uncle Bob’s birthday and its the first presidential debate tonight!  I’m very excited!!!
