mmmmmm….

I love Thai food soooo much!  I was worried I wouldn’t find anything on the menu without noodles or rice that I was interested in, but I ended up ordering Panang beef and it came with a side of broccoli and a side of white rice (they didn’t have brown).  So, instead of pouring the panang over the rice and eating it that way (that’s how you’re supposed to eat it), I just skipped the rice.  Still delicious, and I didn’t feel nearly as over-full as I usually do after eating Thai food.  I was very naughty and suggested ice cream for dessert so David and I went to Cold Stone Creamery.  (I know, I know – not very low-carb – but I can splurge every once in awhile! that’s what makes life worth living!)  I had the most amazing ice cream ever: dark chocolate peppermint with marshmellow fluff, chocolate shavings, and crushed oreos.  They call it the “After Dinner Mint” and its divine.  I swear, even the smallest size there is still massive.

Erin gave me a GREAT leather coat a couple years ago, its distressed brown leather, comes to my knees, and just looks awesome.  This week I’ve been stopped twice when I’m out wearing it by people who just rave over it.  The entire staff at Cold Stone showered me with compliments.  (what’s better than ice cream and compliments?  I can’t think of much!)  I lovingly call it my “browncoat,” by the way.  I just wanted to publicly thank Erin for giving me such an awesome coat! You rock, sis!

Now that David’s done with his star-watching break from our date night, I think we’re going to watch a movie…
