well that sucked!
So, I did two coats of primer in our hallway tonight. I thought that the hallway would be easy, its probably only 6 feet long by three feet wide. However, I didn’t think about the fact that it has four doors, a smoke detector, the doorbell chime, a lightswitch, and the thermostat. It was all detail/brushwork. UGH! It took me as long to do the priming it as it took to prime our entire bedroom! (around 2.5 hours) I was hoping to do the priming, take a little break, and then paint it tonight and be done with it. But since its now 2:40am, David and I do not have the energy to stay up long enough for the primer to dry and then paint. (I’m actually doing the painting, while David has the truly important job of reading Harry Potter!)
