hard week

Its been a hard week.  My grandfather passed away yesterday.  Visitation is tomorrow and the funeral is Saturday.  I know he’s at peace now, but I’m so sad for my grandmother.  I can’t imagine loosing your husband after 62 years of marriage.

We hiked up Mt. Rogers today, in Grayson County. I think it might have been my first time actually hiking on the Appalachian Trail! We did about 6-7 miles in 4 hours, if that gives you an idea of how strenuous the terrain was! Here’s a few of the best pictures:
