Today we went to Lowe’s to buy our new refridgerator, dishwasher, and various other moving-in type things. It was a madhouse and we were all totally exhausted after spending seemingly 18 hours there. (Okay, maybe it was just three hours, but it was a really long time!)

When we got home, I set straight to work transforming the flower bed in front of my house. Here are the before and after shots:

Not bad, huh? I planted 40 little pink begonias, 2 white geraniums, and 2 purple petunias. It looks nice now, but I think that in a few weeks it’ll look amazing!

I spent another hour and a half de-sodding my garden plot. My original plan was to have a 15×25 foot plot, but since I’m de-sodding by hand, I’ve decided to make do with a 14×14 foot plot. These pictures were taken before I finished for the day, at the end I was almost halfway done!
