We had a wonderful Christmas this morning!  (We celebrated early because we’ll be in Virginia on Christmas Day, and we don’t have room to take all our presents there to exchange.  Plus, we want to have Christmas at OUR home, too – the kids don’t know what date Christmas is supposed to be!)

Last night, the kids made coffee for Santa to leave with cookies, and wrote him a note:

This morning everyone had a wonderful time opening presents!  Killy’s favorites were his pretend coffee maker and wooden toolbox set.  Ellie loved her doll I made her and her animal shaped shakers.  I am thrilled beyond belief with my iPod Nano.  David’s excited for his wine tasting course.  And, Erin’s drooling over her Season One of Criminal Minds DVD set that has a little special segment all about Dr. Reed.  And probably what will be the most used (and most appreciated!) gift of the day is the two-screen DVD player Erin got us for the minivan!  Currently, we have a one-screen system and a mirror set up in the car so both kids can see (Ellie’s rear facing and Killy’s forward facing) – this will be about a million times nicer!
