LOTS of snow!
We’ve got several inches of snow on the ground already, and they’re calling for it continue snowing for awhile yet, I think. Killian enjoyed the snow a whole lot, he and David played outside for about 40 minutes. He’s such a tough kid! It was 16 degrees outside with a windchill of zero! David finally had to make him come in because he didn’t want to keep his scarf on. Usually, I don’t make a big deal about coats, gloves, scarves, etc – but at a zero degree windchill David and I knew it was necessary. Killy announced very loudly, “I NO LIKE SCARVES.” and then later, “I NOT WEAR SCARVES EVER AGAIN!” That’s his favorite phrase – ever again – and he uses it all the time with me. When he knocked Ellie down earlier today, I put Cars (the movie he was watching) in “time out.” He told me, “Mommy not time out Cars EVER AGAIN!” When I was trying to clean his ears while he brushed his teeth, he told me “Mommy not poke ear EVER AGAIN!”

Tomorrow, we’re all going to Emporia for the weekend. Erin has class and can’t drive yet (medical resitriction), so we’re all going and me and David and the kids will do fun stuff while we’re there. We’re staying at a hotel with an indoor pool! That will be so much fun with the kids.
Ellie is growing up so fast! It boggles my mind. She’s so precious. Her favorite thing right now is to give kisses and hugs, and she pats you on the back while she hugs you. It just melts me every time. Here she is giving Killy hugs:

And, I just have to say, I have wild, wonderful, beautiful children!
Don’t they have beautiful eyes? Ellie’s eyes are lighter and look green most of the time, but Killy’s are darker and look brown often. But, they still have a lot of green in them and sometimes it really shows up in pictures.
