up and down

Wednesday, August 23rd, 2006

Weird day today!  We took Auntie to work and then took Ellie to her 9-month well child visit.  I got dreadfully lost on the way and thought we might be late, but I found my way eventually (and on time).  Anyway, Ellie is doing great! She’s 28 1/8 inches tall, which is the 75th percentile [...]

rotten day

Wednesday, August 16th, 2006

Its been a horrific day so far. We get up this morning and drop Erin at work and then go to the botanical gardens. In the car, Killy screams at me and Erin to “Go Away!” We get there and Killy has peed in his training pants. Uh-oh, but I brought [...]

I have been here before,
But when or how I cannot tell:
I know the grass beyond the door,
The sweet keen smell,
The sighing sound, the lights around the shore.
You have been mine before,—
How long ago I may not know:
But just when at that swallow’s soar
Your neck turned [...]
