new sleeping arangement

Since Ellie’s growing up so fast and getting all mobile on me, we had to switch her from the cradle to the crib. So, the cradle’s now down in the basement to be stored till our next baby (probably a few years), and we moved the crib from the nursery into our room. I think it will work out great! Ellie can sleep in the crib in our room for the next year or so (well, we put her down in the crib, and then when she wakes up hungry she comes to our bed for the rest of the night). Once Killy is finally sleeping through the night and is a bit more trustworthy, he can take the top bunk of his bunk beds and Ellie can have the bottom. If I don’t feel comfortabe putting him in the top bunk, then we’ll just convert the crib into a toddler bed and put that back in the nursery in a year or so when Ellie’s ready to leave our bedroom. Then, when we buy a new house in a couple years they’ll each have their own rooms. And we can start the cycle all over again by having another couple babies!
So, I feel like I actually acomplished something today: I cleaned the master bedroom and nursery and re-aranged the furniture. Woohoo! I love doing something around the house where I can actually see results immediately!
