NO cheese with this whine…

Friday, April 21st, 2006

(Warning: very whiny post ahead!)
I’m giving up ALL dairy food for the next two weeks. Ellie has excema on her arms (inside the elbows) and that is often caused by food allergies – and since the only food she gets right now is breastmilk that means its something I’m eating.  Dairy is the most likely [...]

Who Loves Killy and Ellie?

Wednesday, April 19th, 2006

So, I’m making the kids a book at Clark Color Labs using their Memory Book option. Its a book called “Who Loves Killy and Ellie?” and has pictures of all of our close family members (Killy, Ellie, me, David, Erin, Katie, Trav, Carina, and all the grandparents and great-grandparents). I’m really pleased with it! Mary [...]

wow!

Wednesday, April 19th, 2006

Killy just keeps impressing us – he’s growing up so fast!  His vocabulary keeps growing and growing. As of today, he can now say Buh-Bye perfectly, he used to pronouce it “shy-shy.”  He’s also doing some other cool things – we were drawing shapes on the deck with chalk the other day, and he decided [...]

so tired

Monday, April 17th, 2006

I’m so exhausted.  I took a 35 minute walk with the kids in the stroller this morning, and then this evening I spent 90 minutes mowing the lawn.  I still love mowing!  I’m off to bed…
I’m up to 835 minutes of exercise so far in April!  That much exercise MIGHT keep me from gaining any [...]

We had a wonderful day!  I just spent a couple hours getting all the Easter pics online… There is an “April 15th” album that has over 100 pics in it, and then there’s an “Easter Highlights” album that has the 24 or so best pictures.  I have some pretty darn cute kiddos!
The day was lovely: [...]

Too funny!

Saturday, April 15th, 2006

The other day, when I caught Killy drawing on himself, I yelled for David to bring up the camera to document the cuteness. As he was taking a picture, Killy started to draw on himself some more:

And, I immediately said, “Killian! No drawing on yourself! We only draw on paper!” And here was his [...]

shapes and colors

Friday, April 14th, 2006

Don’t you just love it when your kid surprises you? Tonight, Killy and I were reading a book about shapes and I started asking him if he could point out shapes (“where’s the triangle?”) – and he could! He knows circle, oval, rectangle, triangle, and square and makes decent attempts at saying each shape name! [...]
