Things are going okay here, unfortunently David caught Killy’s horrible cold from last week so now he feels rotten. I actually succeeded in making him take the day off so far! That rarely happens. So, he’s been upstairs in bed and I’ve been down on the couch with the kiddos all day. I got very little sleep last night between David coughing and nursing babies, so we’ve all been taking a lazy-day today.

So far, Ellie seems to be the easiest baby in the world. We though Killy was easy, but Ellie just sleeps all the time. She’ll have 20-40 minutes of alert awakeness, then sleep for 3-4 hours. This repeats all day, with nursing sessions thrown in here and there. She also almost never cries – only when we have to change her clothes and she gets cold.

I’m feeling pretty good – adjusting to having my nights interupted several times, though, so I’m a bit tired….

I can’t believe I got to eat lunch and post this without either kid waking up! Its amazing!
