beautiful!
Ellie just gets sweeter and more beautiful by the moment:

See what I mean? She has the cutest little smiles in her sleep… And, speaking of sleep, she sleeps great. She wakes up every three hours to nurse and then falls right back asleep, she hardly ever cries, and she’s very patient with her big brother’s attempts at loving. He pats her on the head, which is very sweet – but we have to remind him to be gentle a lot.
Things are much better today – I’m feeling a lot better and the day was easier. I have decided that next time I have a baby (in about 18 months if we follow our plan) I am NOT going to even get out of my bed until I feel good enough that it won’t bother me for people to expect me to resume all normal activities. I’ve felt pretty good since the birth, but I guess I just expected with all the family around to be babied a bit more the first, oh, 72 hours after birth… But, now I know for next time. After Killy, I really had no choice but to get up and go immediatley since we were moving two weeks later. This time I told everyone I wanted to take it easier, but the expectation was still there. Next time I’m just not going to get up!
PS- I just added a new album to the gallery – its the pictures of Auntie Erin holding Ellie at the hospital. I don’t know how they got left out of the Introducing Ellie pictures…
