exciting day!

This morning we had an ultrasound and got to see the baby! Unfortunently, we don’t have any really great pictures, since the baby was facing my back. But, the baby was wiggling around and measuring exactly correct for my due date. November 27th is my actual due date, but I’m hoping that I’ll go a couple weeks early so I’ll have a new baby by Thanksgiving. I went a couple weeks early with Killy, so its at least somewhat likely… The baby weighs a little less than half a pound now. I’m pretty proud of myself because I’ve only gained 3 lbs this whole pregnancy. Yay!

Then David had a haircut, then we went to Fritz’s for lunch – that’s the place with the trains that deliver your food to the table. Killy loved it again, and he very much enjoyed his cheeseburger and french fries. Its only about the fourth or fifth time he’s ever had french fries, but he really enjoyed them. I even let him have a little bit of the ice cream out of my root beer float!

THEN we went to the mall and David and Killy did a Build-A-Bear workshop. Killy chose an Elmo doll and he was giving it hugs in the car on the way home. He also was apparently kissing and/or biting it, because I later found red fuz in his mouth!

Plus, to top off the exciting day – my cousin Lisa and her husband are spending the night! It’ll be great to see them, and I’m really excited that they’re visiting Kansas City.

Check the gallery – I’m about to upload a ton of cute pictures!

Ultrasounds are so incredible, aren’t they? Definitely some of my fondest memories from pregnancy!

Just wanted to add that I looked at your pictures and you and your belly look so cute! You could be a model for maternity clothes!

I’m so glad that Tuesday was a great day (as planned)! It’s too bad you didn’t get any good ultrasound pics, but I’m so glad I got to hear the baby when I was visiting…

P.S. The pics are great! I should be able to pick mine up today and post them tomorrow.
