Wow!
I’m just now starting to upload all the pictures for the last week and a half… whew! There’s 197 total! I cannot get behind on adding pictures again!
Killy had his last swim class of this session tonight – he got his Certificate and everything! The only thing the teacher said he needed work on was floating on his back… We got home and Killy and I took a shower together to get the chlorine off and he was so relaxed he almost fell asleep!
Right now, Killy’s trying to drop junk mail through the cat door into the sub-basement. Now, if only I could teach him to sort the mail, my life would be easier!
In sad news, Mom and Dad flew home today. We had a wonderful weekend, though!

Killy is adorable and he def. has David’s eyes. I just wanted to thank you Jen and David for being so diligent about this website; it’s my own little window into a world I miss being a part of. I particularly like it when you post pics of Erin…I miss you so much!
As to Carina’s comment…what’s wrong with Yanni? I actually bit the bullet and dropped a few to see him in concert for 3 1/2 hours all by myself. I had a great time…I applaud your musical taste Jen.
Many Happy Returns!! Love, Janelle

HI JANELLE!
So maybe my aversion to Yanni stems from the countless car trips where my mom forced us all to listen to him. I find his music repetitive and boring, but if other people like it, I’m happy for them. In fact, my dad took my mom to see him in Wilkes-Barre for her birthday (against his will) and she loved it and my dad enjoyed it in spite of himself.

Hi Miss Carina!!!
I miss you!! I don’t think music should be forced on anyone and I apologize that you had to experience that with such a musical genius. I can see how his music might seem repetitive…but his new stuff is v. different, multi-cultural and amazing!
As a side note…while I likely won’t see his new movie, every time I see Tommy Lee Jones I think of you and it makes me smile. Every time.
Hope you’re doing beyond well!
Love,
Janelle

The Soundscapes thingy plays a huge assortment of new-age-y music. Good stuff to have on at night to fall asleep to, and to get the munchkin asleep to.
I was a big Yanni fan in high school, and also went to go see him in concert. It was a great show!
