teething sucks!
So, my sweet little baby who is usually great at night was a total terror last night. Killy didn’t stay asleep for very long at any time, bit me while nursing, tossed and turned, kicked, moaned and groaned, and swung his paci leash around until it connected with my face! David finally put him in the jumper and he jumped for over an hour and then peacefully fell asleep and snuggled with me until 10am. Thank goodness! His top teeth are coming in, I think, because he’s never been like this at night! Poor little guy… I hope those teeth come in soon!
Killy’s crawling is improving steadily, but when he wants to get somewhere fast he still lays down and rolls. I think he used another world the day before yesterday, too. I fixed myself some lunch and he saw my plate and got upset that he didn’t have any food and I think he was saying, “More, more, more!” I’ve made an effort the last couple weeks to teach him the word/sign for more while eating – but I think he thinks it means food now since I say “Do you want some more?” each time before giving him a bite of food!

My non-alternative-methods MIL swore by Hyland’s Teething Tablets (she used them with her youngest, who is no 17!)
I used a combination of those and oragel. I found my babies sometimes didn’t breastfeed well while teething, and just the teeniest bit of oragel helped make it more comfortable for them latching and nursing (and avoiding using me as a teether!)
