Almost Christmas
I’m having so much fun this year! Its so much fun to watch Killy open presents and meet new people… He’s having a blast. Even the car ride went wonderfully – 18 hours of travel time (not including the six hours we slept in a hotel), and he only cried for 5 minutes the whole time!!! I am the world’s best mom…
We’ve had a great time hanging out with our families so far – and the town of Floyd is sooo cool now! All kinds of great shops and neat restaurants, I’m going back tomorrow morning to help Dad shop for Mom’s Christmas present. Seeing Nana and Papa has been wonderful, too. I helped Mom and Aunt Judy clean house for them before the reunion on Thursday. No one can believe how much Killy’s grown just since Thanksgiving. He’s got even more hair now, and is really starting to look like a little boy instead of a baby. (Also, he’s busting out of his 12-month clothes.) Everyone at Nana’s house said that he looked just like me when I was a baby, except for the hair – I was bald till about 2 years old. Next week in Chattanooga everyone will say he looks just like David, though!
