Merry Christmas Eve! (for the Woods)
We’re celebrating our FIRST Christmas tomorrow morning here at our house before we go to Virginia. We’re leaving tomorrow evening, arriving in Floyd Friday, spending Friday and Saturday nights in Floyd, going to Galax on Sunday, spending Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday nights in Galax, then going to Roanoke Wednesday afternoon, then spending the night in Floyd Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (with a couple day trips to Galax during those days), then we go to Chattanooga on Sunday, and then head back to Kansas on Tuesday or Wednesday. Whew! We have Christmas with Grandma and Grandpa Sharp (and Uncle Bob!) on Christmas Eve, then Christmas with Grandmommy and Pop-Pop on Christmas morning, and then again in Chattanooga on the 27th. I’m tired already!
While I was nursing Killy to sleep tonight David read “Twas the Night Before Christmas” to him and then I read the story of the first Christmas. I thought it was a great way for both of us to share meaningful parts of the holiday with our son…
So, anyone who will be in Galax, Floyd, or Roanoke and would like to get together while we’re in town please call us! You can get in touch with us by calling my parent’s house or the Woods’ house (they’re both listed in the phone book). We’ll be checking our email and cell phone messages very sporatically after about 4pm tomorrow (Thursday), so calling our parents’ houses is the best way to get ahold of us.

I know you’ll have a fantastic time! I wish I could be there, too!
