bleah…
I’m feeling very bleah at the moment… I’m working on a Christmas present project that involves photographs and I’m really tired. I really like photography – actually, I mainly like taking pictures of Killian – but sometimes I feel like I’m not very good at it. I enjoy it, but I don’t like to do things I’m not skilled at… that sounds like a cop-out, but what I really mean is that I want to put my energy toward things that I feel I can master. Part of it is that whenever I take a picture of Killy, then David cleans it up for printing if we’re doing portraits (color-editing, etc). And it seems like all anyone ever says is, “David did a great job editing it!” And he does a WONDERFUL job, I know that! But I hate to be wasting my time taking pictures that are only good for editing – know what I mean? Well, enough of my pity party…
Killy is really close to crawling! He can raise up on his arms from a lying position, and he can get his legs up under him from a lying position, but he just hasn’t put the two together yet. As soon as he figures that out he’ll be off!
Killy had a cold this week, but is much better now. (I didn’t mention it while he was sick because I knew a certain grandfather in VA would be very worried and I didn’t want to cause any stress!) I must say, I really like the Vicks Baby Rub (Vapo-Rub for babies) and it really helps. So does having a humidifier in the room – David and I wake up feeling better each morning after its run all night. Poor David has the cold now that Killy is over it, but he seems to have it a lot worse than Killian did.
