Killy’s first solid!
Well, tonight I finally gave Killian some solid food. (Notice I don’t say “real” food – breastmilk is real food!) The verdict: he LOVES it! I gave him a little less than 2 tbsp of mashed up banana and breastmilk and he scarfed it down. In fact, the most difficult thing was taking the spoon away from him to refill it – once he had it he didn’t want to let it go. The big smile on his face when he tasted it was so cute, too! We’re going to be taking it very slow with solids, introducing one food a week and only offering solids at dinner for quite awhile.
