Killy’s two-month well-child appt was this morning – and he’s wonderfully healthy! He is 25 inches long (97th percentile), 13 pounds 8 ounces (90th percentile), and head circumference is 16.5 inches (90th percentile). The dr. did the math and figured up that he has been gaining a little over an ounce a day! She said he looked more like a four month old than a two month old! She said he was very alert, but mellow. He didn’t fuss or scream at all while she was examining him. When she put him down on his tummy, he was trying to get up on his elbows and she told him he wasn’t supposed to be doing that yet! He is very strong for being only 2 months old… She also joked that his constant drooling is really a three month old skill, too. She was just fine with delaying his vaccinations until 4 months, and said she loved to see pro-active parents who do their own reserach on things.
