much better

Everything is starting to go much smoother now… Whew! David saw the doctor and it turns out his back problem is just a muscular strain, and she prescribed some painkillers and anti-inflamatory meds and he is feeling much, much better. He’s feeling so much better that he’ll be able to help finish up with the appartment – I’m so relieved. The house is still a mess, but that can be worked on a little at a time this week.

Killy is doing wonderfully! He’s smiling all the time now and is really being a sweetheart. I can’t wait to take him to all the reunions next weekend! We have the Woods on Friday evening, the Killians on Saturday (we’re missing the Sharp reunion on Saturday because we’ll be in TN all day – too bad), and the Roops on Sunday. I’m a little worried about Killy being passed around too much, he’s really only been held by me, David, the grandparents, and Erin. A couple ladies at my workplace have held him – but he is not used to being passed around. I really hope that everyone will be understanding if I say, “Enough” at some point because he’s getting cranky… I hope they’ll be understanding, but I’m not expecting it. :-(

By the way – anyone from VA reading this needs to let me know ASAP if they’d like to get together while we’re there. We’ll be in TN July 2-3, and then in VA from July 4-7. Email me!
