Well, after discussing it with the midwife, I decline having an induction. I figure I’ll give this baby a few more days at least. Technically, my due date isn’t for another 8 days. And, honestly, its almost physically impossible for this to continue too much longer. I’ve progressed really far with no active labor yet, so I’m bound to have this baby soon! (For anyone curious, I’m now 6cm dialated, 90% effaced, and the baby is at a 0/+1 station.) My solution is to decline induction, but go back to work at the museum and fling myself into packing and housekeeping. Hopefully in the next couple of days all of it will pay off and I’ll have a sweet little baby!
