too much excitement!
This morning I started having some regular surges, and they were more intense than the ones over the weekend, so I went back in to see the midwife again. She checked me, and I hadn’t progressed at all - the baby was actually up a little higher - but after putting me on the monitor she was seeing enough surges to send me over to the hospital to get a stronger medication to stop the contractions. Two doses of the meds and I haven’t had a major surge since! The L&D nurse said that should buy us at least a week or two…
